Oh boy, I bet all those po-faced sportswear companies are sooooo glad they finally embraced the fashionisation of sportswear. Since they begrudgingly accepted that trainers and windcheaters have a place beyond the running track – ideally in the wildest and wackiest colour combos – there’s been no stopping them.
Nike has been particularly clever with its collabs and its old school classics realised in Liberty of London’s iconic print are eagerly anticipated and collected. This month it has done thing differently, launching the first Liberty of London x NIKEiD service. You can customise a number of classic Nikes with your own permutations of colours and Liberty print – the red hi-tops are my favourites. Shop Liberty of London X NikeID here…
Meanwhile, I love the latest collab between Converse and Comme Des Garcons. June 1st sees the release of four new styles of the Converse Pro Leather basketball shoe smothered with Commes Des Garcons PLAY’s trademark heart motif.
